Tonnemaker Farm Grape Jam Story | McCormick Jam Co.

Every jar has a story, and our grape jam begins in Royal City, Washington, with beautiful fruit from Tonnemaker Hill Farm.

At McCormick Jam Co., finding exceptional fruit is one of our favorite parts of making jam. It connects our family business with the growers whose work makes ours possible—and gives us something special to share with you.

For this grape jam, we brought together four varieties: Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and Joy. Each offers its own personality. Venus combines classic American grape character with aromatic muscat notes. Jupiter is known for its gentle muscat flavor. Mars brings that familiar, Concord-like grape taste, while Joy is prized for its wonderfully fruity flavor.

Four varieties, one delicious opportunity for Sarah to work her magic.

Sarah McCormick—our Jam Queen—is the maker behind our preserves. She turns these Washington-grown grapes into small-batch jam, sweetened with honey and raw sugar, with the fruit at the heart of every batch. Our Sammic emulsifier helps create the beautifully smooth texture we love spreading on everything from warm toast to a really good peanut butter sandwich.

And me? I’m Dane, the Jam Man, Sarah’s biggest fan and the one who gets to share the story behind what she creates.

Try this grape jam on a warm biscuit, spoon it alongside sharp cheddar, or give your next peanut butter and jam sandwich a little extra attention. Sometimes the most familiar foods are the best way to appreciate something thoughtfully made.

We’re proud to give Tonnemaker Hill Farm credit for the fruit and grateful to everyone who supports our family’s work.
